For the past few years, our team has been hard at work behind the scenes, fueled by a vision to bring a dedicated soccer training facility to our region. We’ve poured our energy into developing a robust business plan, detailed facility renderings, and fostering partnerships that reflect the incredible potential of our local soccer community.
However, even the most promising projects encounter hurdles. Despite having partial funding and several promising MOUs in place, we have made the difficult decision to put the facility project on an indefinite hiatus.
The Path Forward
The primary challenges we faced involved securing the necessary land and ensuring long-term business continuity for a project of this scale. As we pivot, it is important that our partners, who were just as excited as we were to be housed in this facility, continue to evolve and grow their own programs while we identify alternative roads forward.
A Change in Focus, Not a Cancellation
We want to be clear: this is not a cancellation of our mission. Our goal remains to make sport more accessible in the region. By stepping back from the physical build at this time, we are able to redirect our non-profit’s limited funds to where they can make the most immediate and significant impact for our athletes.
Breathe New Life into the Dream
We believe in the necessity of this facility, and we know our community does too. While our current focus has shifted, we remain open to new ideas, unconventional solutions, and fresh perspectives.
